Reflection: “One of the key challenges today is that of individuality –when ‘I’ comes first, without thought of the other. I’m not surprised that we have lonely young people and lonely elderly people; it is not surprising me that we have racist divisions – if ‘I’ is all that matters. When we enter into the mystery of the relationality of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), we can no longer exclude people. All are equally loved and valued by God.”. Revd Dr. Elizabeth Welch Laudato Si: In celebration of Laudato Si week, St Michael’s Eco Spirituality Group is pleased to announce an extension to the Wildflower Meadow in the church grounds. During this month of May, may we be guided by the mothering virtues of nurturing, guiding, nourishing, loving and supporting as exemplified by Our Lady in our attitude and behaviour towards our common home. It is our seed of hope that this small corner of our parish helps us to preserve and treasure our natural world and continues to be a haven of reflection on the wonders of God’s creation.
