Easter Clergy Collection: A sincere thank you to all who have contributed a further €740 bringing the total to €15,890 so far. Cheques to be made payable to St. Michael’s Parish.

First Holy Communion: Congratulations to the children from The St. Michael’s G.N.S who celebrated their First Holy Communion last Friday. The children from St. Joseph’s School will celebrate it this Friday 23rd May at 11.30am. Note no parking in church grounds until after the ceremony.

Pilgrimage to Knock: A bus will leave the Marian Hall on Sunday, May 25th @ 8am. Price €30. Book at Parish Office 062 52727.

Trócaire: A sincere thanks to all who have contributed a total of €12,775. Future donations should be made directly to Trócaire.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: in St. Michael’s Church every Wednesday from 3pm to 8pm. “Come to me all who labour and are heavily burdened and I will give you rest”( Mt.11:28-30). Jesus will always listen to our story and will always support us on our journey through life.  All he asks is that we make ourselves available to listen to him in prayer.

Confessions: are available every Saturday in St. Michael’s Church from 3pm to 4.pm

Lotto Results: 15th   May: 2, 6, 12, 17: No Jackpot winner. The €50 Lucky Dip Winner: Sarah Crowe.  The Jackpot is €5,000. Thanks to the many who continue to support the parish Lotto each week. May Rosary: every night for the month of May in the Marian Park @ 7.30pm. Also at the Millenium Rock @ 7pm.

The Relics of Padre Pio: are visiting Holycross Abbey, Thurles on Saturday 24th May from 10.00am & Sunday 25th May from 9.00am. On Saturday, the relics will be available for veneration from 10am to 8pm. On Sunday, the Abbey open at 9am for veneration followed by the traditional St. Pio Day events beginning at 1:30pm. The day will culminate with Mass in honour of St. Pio at 3pm, followed by continued veneration until 8pm.  Further information at 0504-43124 (Monday to Friday office hours) or by email at hbparishoffice@gmail.com.

Coffee and Cake Sale: is being held in the County Tennis Club in association with Cystic Fibrosis Ireland on this Sunday 18th May from 10 am – 1 pm. Please come along and support us.
