The Diocesan Pastoral Plan – Seeds of Hope 2021-2026:   After a lengthy ‘Listening Process’ throughout the diocese  four year ago and the interruption of Covid 19 for the past eighteen months, the 5 year Diocesan Pastoral Plan – Seeds of Hope will be launched by Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly in Holycross Abbey this Sunday 12th Sept with mass at 3.00pm.  Unfortunately we are still under Covid restrictions so only a representative group from each parish can attend in person but it will be streamed live from the Abbey today.  We hope to organise parish gatherings soon to reflect on and embrace this initiative of faith development into the future.  We will all need to work together to keep faith alive for the coming generations.

Month of Prayer for the Care of Creation:  (1st Sept. – 4th Oct) “…The ecological crisis is a summons to profound interior conversion… Living our vocation to be protectors of God’s handiwork is essential to a life of virtue;  it is not an optional of  a secondary aspect of our Christian experience”  (Laudato Si 217   Pope Francis)
