Easter Clergy Collection: for the priests of the diocese next weekend 16/17 April. The target set for Tipperary Parish for 2022 is €103,00.  As we only have four of these collections in the year we ask that you be as generous as you can.  Use the envelopes provided in your envelope box marked Easter Clergy and place in Collection boxes in the church. Envelopes are also available at the back of the church.  Make cheques payable to St. Michael’s Parish.

Trocaire:  Please return your contribution to Trócaire this week.  If possible you are asked to change coins to notes.  Cheques should be made payable to St. Michael’s Parish and not to Trócaire if you are making your donation through the parish. Alternatively you can send your contribution directly to Trócaire.

Daffodil Day: Many thanks to all who helped and supported ‘Daffodil Day’ 2022.  The amount raised in Tipperary was €15,060

Thanks: .Thanks to all who have contributed €9,305 to the Ukraine Appeal so far through St. Michael’s Parish. Donations can still be left in the collections boxes in the church.

Holy Week 2022 in St. Michael’s Church Tipperary Town

14th April          HOLY THURSDAY   

7.00pm      Mass of the Lord’s Supper with procession to the altar of Repose

8.00pm – 9.00pm Prayer at the Altar of Repose

15th April         GOOD FRIDAY    

11.00am            Stations of the Cross – (St. John’s Famine Cemetery)

3.00pm    The Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Passion

(Divine Mercy Novena will begin immediately after this celebration)

7.00pm      Stations of the Cross

16th April          HOLY SATURDAY

Confessions:         2.00pm – 4.00pm.

8.30PM               EASTER  VIGIL (No 7.00pm Vigil Mass) You are invited to gather around the Easter Fire in the Church Yard at 8.15pm for the blessing of the Easter Fire and lighting of the Easter  Candle.
