Reflection: Jesus sends his disciples before him.
As a disciple I am sent to bring peace wherever I am, to give others the Good News that God and his saving love has come to each of us.
As I read the gospel today let the words of Jesus touch my heart, allowing me to see on what mission is Jesus sending me – to whom can I bring the divine gift of peace.
Sometimes I doubt whether I am good enough or worthy to bring Jesus and his love to others, especially in a world that is hostile. What qualification do I have for this mission – except believing in Jesus and wanting to follow him in my life.
Jesus trusts me and wants me to trust in him, so that I can be a source of his presence, peace and love to all I meet.
