Summer Clergy Collection: A huge word of thanks to all who have contributed €8,610 to this collection so far for the priests of the diocese. Envelopes for this collection are in your Envelope pack or available at back of the church.

Offertory Contributions: As we have no Basket Collection during Mass a sincere thanks to all who contribute financially by using the Weekly Envelope or by placing a donation in the Collection Boxes at the back of the Church or online. The Offertory/Envelope Collection last w/e 10^th July was €2,295.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock:  takes place on Sunday 7^th August 2022.  A bus will depart the Marian Hall, Tipperary Town at 8.00am.  Fare is €30.  To book your seat contact the Sacristy/Office at St. Michael’s Church on 062/52727 Mon-Fri 10am to 12 noon.

Remembrance Liturgy: As part of Fr Tomás O’Connell & friends fundraising cycle of the Ring of Kerry later this month for the charity Embrace FARM (www.embracefarm.com), a short Remembrance Prayer Service will take place at the grotto at Nicker Church(V94 WK16) on Saturday 23^rd  July at 8pm during which the names of those in Co’s Limerick & Tipperary who died in farm accidents will be remembered. All are welcome.

World Day for Grandparents & the Elderly Sunday July 24^th 2022 (“In old age, they will still bear fruit – psalm 92:15) Pope Francis has established a World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly, which will take place for the second time on Sunday 24 July 2022 on the theme ‘In old age they will still bear fruit (Ps 92:15)’. The World Day was established to be celebrated on the Sunday closest to the Feast Day of Saints Joachim and Anne on 26 July. In his message, Pope Francis says that old age is no time to give up and lower the sails, but a season of enduring fruitfulness: a new mission awaits us and bids us look to the future.  He invites us to be ‘Poets of Prayer’.
