Lenten Clergy Collection: at all masses this weekend, 8th/9th March, for the priests of the diocese. This is the first of five Clergy collections this year. The target for Tipperary Parish is €103,000. The envelope for this collection is in your Envelope Collection Box. Also envelopes will be available at the back of the church. Cheques to be made payable to St. Michael’s Church.
Lenten Reflection Evenings: Every Wednesday for Lent the last hour of Eucharistic Exposition will be a reflective hour with a different theme each evening. The first takes place next wed 12th March 7pm-8pm in St. Michael’s Church. The theme is “Thorns of Life (Our Burdens). See leaflets at the back of the church. All are welcome.
Trócaire Boxes: The Trocaire Boxes are available at the back of the church and it would be great to have one in every home during this holy season.
Church Heating: Thankfully the heating is fixed and the new boiler installed. There are a couple of radiators to be replaced in the next week. A huge thank you for your patience and for your generosity that has helped pay for this work.
“The Ferryman”: a play in 3 acts by Jez Butterworth at The Excel Centre, Wednesday 12th – 15th March @ 8pm. A great production by our local drama group, joined by various schools in Tipperary Town. Tickets available at The Excel Box office: 062 80520.
Tipperary Daffodil Day: thanks to all who supported our Daffodil Day launch, raffle and donated prizes. The amount raised on the day was €1,740
