Lenten Reflection Evenings: the final Lenten Reflection takes place in St. Michael’s church next Wednesday 9th April from 7pm to 8pm. The theme is Reconciliation & Forgiveness. There will be time to celebrate the sacrament of confession and forgiveness in a prayerful and reflective way. We all need to celebrate God’s forgiveness and mercy. Next Wednesday evening is an opportunity for all of us to prepare for Easter. All are welcome.
Holy Week Celebrations: Holy week is the highlight of the Christian calendar every year – remembering how much we are loved by God. Details of the Holy Week celebrations in St. Michael’s will be available in the leaflet next weekend. Participation is very important and we are asking people to volunteer to help and participate in the Holy Week ceremonies – particularly in the washing of feet on Holy Thursday, Veneration of the Cross on Good Friday and in heling for the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday. Leave your name in the sacristy or parish office.
National Conference on Stroke: will take place on Monday April 28th, at the Cashel Palace Hotel from 9.30am to 1.30pm. It will provide information on aphasia (difficulties with language post stroke), brain injury, rehabilitation, therapy and recovery, risks and prevention and medical advances. All are welcome to attend but must register on Eventbrite.
