REFLECTION:       The image of a boat in a stormy sea is a symbol of life in difficult times and is an image of the inner turmoil, anxiety and high emotions we experience. This image can be applied to family, community, parish or the world at large.  The significance of the miracles in the gospels is that they show Jesus as one who brings God’s power and love to bear on human need and suffering.

Laudato Si  ‘ … Many things have to change course, but it is we human beings above all who need to change…’                                                                                                                                   Pope Francis, Laudato Si’#202
