Ash Wednesday: Mass will be online and on Tipp Mid West Radio at 10.15am.  Ashes will be blessed at this mass in St. Michael’s Church and will be available in packets for people to take home during the day.  Please only take one packet per household.

Trocaire: As always, with your generosity, Trócaire continues to support some of the poorest people in the world to achieve change locally, while also campaigning to challenge the root causes and global rules that prevent people from living lives free from poverty, injustice, gender inequality and human rights abuses. Your continued support for this work is invaluable. You change lives and you save lives. Trocaire Boxes are available in St. Michael’s Church for collection.  As you collect the Blessed Ashes on this week please take a Trocaire Box home and give what you can during Lent to the poorest of the poor.

Collection Envelopes 2021:  It is hoped to distribute these envelopes with the parish calendar to homes in the parish over the next couple of weeks.  We appreciate the job our volunteers do each year in distributing these envelopes  but some extra help would be appreciated.

Thanks:  A huge thanks to all who have continued to contribute to the parish during this difficult time by leaving donations in our collection boxes in the church and donating online. This is much appreciated

Parish Office & Sacristy: Remains closed until the Government Level 5 restrictions end .

Prayer of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus,
I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things
and I desire to receive you into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally
please come spiritually into my heart.
I embrace you now as if you were already there
and I unite myself wholly to you.
Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen
