Trócaire: A great number of people collected their Trocaire Box during the week and we hope that this will be a reminder that there are people in the world worse off than ourselves.  Trócaire are especially asking our help for the poor in South Sudan at this time.  Whatever we give during Lent will mean a lot to them in their need.

Collection Envelopes 2021:  We continue to distribute the Parish Collection Envelopes for 2021.  A huge thanks to all our volunteers and we would still appreciate a few more helpers. The first collection takes place on Easter Sunday.

Thanks:  A huge thanks to all who have continued to contribute to the parish during this difficult time by leaving donations in our collection boxes in the church and donating online.

Sacraments of First Holy Communion & Confirmation: We hope to be able to celebrate these sacraments in our parish after Easter.  It will depend on when level 5 restrictions will be eased for church gatherings.  We encourage the children and parents to continue to prepare for these special occasions in their lives by prayer at home and using the relevant section in class religion book – Grow in Love.

Parish Office & Sacristy: Remains closed until the Government Level 5 restrictions end .

PRAYER OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION My Jesus,
I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things
and I desire to receive you into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally
please come spiritually into my heart.
I embrace you now as if you were already there
and I unite myself wholly to you.
Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen
PRAYER OF GRATITUDE – You are enough
If you can still weep at injustice,
you are enough.
If your eyes are dry but you are moved to act,
you are enough.
If you can extend a hand to the hopeless,
you are enough.
If all you have to give is a tender thought, you are enough.
If you will not abide by the exploitation of others,
you are enough.
If your soul feels the suffering of our sisters and brothers in poverty,
you are enough.
And if you can imagine a world made better one life at a time because you cared,
You – remarkable, kind, compassionate, you – are so much more than enough.
