Third Sunday of Lent > B 7 March 2021

REFLECTION: “I invite all Christians, everywhere, to a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, or at least an openness to letting him encounter them…. The Lord does not disappoint those who take this risk. Whenever we take a step towards Jesus, we come to realise that he is already there, waiting for us with open arms.” Pope Francis, Evangelli Gaudium

Prayer of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus,
I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things
and I desire to receive you into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally
please come spiritually into my heart.
I embrace you now as if you were already there
and I unite myself wholly to you.
Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen
