Reflection: Growth, progress, economic interest and profit can often be pursued for their own sake, without any regard for the consequences for other areas of life, whether on the poor or on the global good of inclusion. The freedom given to us by the Holy Spirit in not an individualistic freedom, but one that unites and helps us create ‘community’. The Holy Spirit guides us to transform our individualism and self-centeredness into a response of generosity for all to enjoy. Archbishop Diarmuid Martin
‘…A broad change in the irresponsible lifestyle connected with the Western model would have a significant long-term impact. As a result… with indispensable political decisions we would be making progress along the way to genuine care one another…’ Pope Francis…. Laudato Deum#72
